Absolutely agree. The problem is that onshoring of pharmaceuticals is not easy. It is a multi-year process that requires regulatory approval, setting up CMC processes and investing in generics, none of which are particularly attractive propositions..
I've been sounding the alarm since 2020. Unfortunately, there seems little political or marketplace will to change things.
Congress had attempted to pass several bills that would bring Pharma Industry back to America, but It keeps getting shut down. Pharma reps and Lobbyist, I would assume.
